CO2 vs. Average Water Flow of the John Day River at McDonald Ferry

The hydrographs below show the change in discharge of a stream over a period of time. By using a hydrograph, one can visualize the average peak discharge and low flow periods for a stream. These hydrographs show change in average stream discharge for the historical period (1971-2000) and averaged by decade through 2098 using 10 GCMs and the IPCC a1b emissions scenario. The outputs were generated using results for the transient method for future streamflow from the VIC hydrologic model.
